ConocoPhillips reports fatality

A Borger ConocoPhillips employee sustained fatal injuries as the result of a fall Monday.
According to Janet D. Grothe, Senior Advisor for Health, Safety and Environment at Phillips 66 Company, at about 3 p.m., an employee at the ConocoPhillips refinery in Borger suffered from fatal injuries after falling. The employee was then transported to Golden Plains Community Hospital where he passed away.
“ConocoPhillips deeply regrets the loss of our employee and wishes to extend sympathy to the employee’s family, friends and co-workers,” said Grothe.
The cause of this accident is still under investigation.
