PAMPA – Clyde Ferguson, Jr., 83, died May 21, 2012, in Ardmore, Okla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Ed Barker of Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship, officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Ferguson was born October 30, 1928 in Fort Smith, Arkansas where he attended schools. He started driving a truck at the age of 16, retiring after nearly 54 years. He was a great father, brother and uncle who touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include a son Danny Ferguson: 2 daughters: Machell Clayton and husband Gene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Janie of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: John Ferguson and wife Mary of Pampa, and Neil Ferguson and wife Virginia of Borger; 3 sisters: Sue Yohn and husband John, Margaret Graham and husband Eldon, and Kathy Armstrong, all of Borger; a special friend: Janice Sparks of Sulphur, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Ferguson, and his parents.
Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship, 1733 N. Banks, Pampa, Texas 79065.
