Citizen has heart attack behind the wheel

A local man experienced a heart attack while behind the wheel Wednesday.
According to Lt. Anthony Griffin of the Borger Police Department, PD responded to the call around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
William E. Brame, 53, of Borger was coming from the 1700 block of Clayton Street turning onto the 1000 block of Florida. Witnesses stated they saw the driver slump over the steering wheel, causing the car to stop at the median and intersection. When PD responded the driver was unresponsive and a patrol officer performed CPR on Brame. As soon as EMS arrived, Brame was placed on a AED and CPR Aid continued. Around 7:30 p.m. a Justice of the Peace officer pronounced Brame deceased. There were no other injuries.
