The circus is coming to town!

The American Crown Circus will be in Borger on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at the Hutchinson County Sheriffs Posse Rodeo Arena, behind McDonald’s.
The shows will be at 6 and 8 p.m.
Past and present performers in this circus have entertained audiences for over 82 years throughout U.S.A., Mexico, Central America and Canada.
They were featured with the tented shows of Carson & Barnes and Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus. From there they went to parks including the Great Escape Park, New York; Busch Gardens, Florida to Knott’s Berry Farm, California.
While at Knott’s Berry Farm they caught the eye of Circus Circus Casino Entertainment Director Mark Maguire. He gave them a contract for Circus Circus Casino Reno, Nevada for four years. The performers were transferred to the Circus Circus Casino Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World. At that time, they started producing their own shows and tours.
The circus tour is over 35 weeks, traveling from Nevada to California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Idaho, Minnesota, Illinois, Mississippi, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.
