Charles Lantelme

Charles Lantelme, 85, of Stinnett, passed away, Saturday, February 25, 2012.
Charles Lantleme was born February 10, 1927 in Ellis County, OK to Carl George and Mae Mary (Peetoom) Lantelme. He was a Naval Veteran of World War II. He was a chemist at Phillips Petroleum for 37 years. After retiring he was involved with ranching beginning in 1989. Mr. Lantelme was a lifetime member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. Charles Lantelme married Evelyn Wayland on August 29, 1954 in Arnett, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Survivors include four sons, Dean Lantelme and wife Rhonda of Fritch, TX, Bobby Lantelme and wife Melinda of Eagle Lake, TX, Carl Lantelme and wife Kimi of Stinnett, TX, and David Lantelme and wife Terri of Stratford, TX; one daughter, Donna Garrard and husband Joe of Stinnett, TX; thirteen grandchildren, Lacey Thornhill and husband Jared of Lubbock, TX, J.T. Lantelme of Fritch, TX, Cody Lantelme and Lindy Lantelme of Eagle Lake, TX, Sheldon, Mackenzie, Zachary, Michael and Caleb Lantelme of Stinnett, TX, Casey Lantelme and Chase Lantelme of Stratford, TX, Crystal Wheeler, Logan Garrard and fiancée Olivia Contreras of Stinnett, TX; and two great grandchildren, Mikayla Wheeler of Stinnett, TX, Dalton Hux of Stinnett, TX
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Stinnett Church of Christ with Jim York, and Robert Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery at Stinnett, TX.
Pallbearers are: J.T. Lantelme, Cody Lantelme, Logan Garrard, Casey Lantelme, Sheldon Lantelme, Zachary Lantelme, Michael Lantelme, Caleb Lantelme, and Jared Thornhill.
Mr. Lantelme will lie in state at Brown Chapel in Stinnett, TX on Monday, February 27, 2012 and Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
