Chamber ambassadors, board members begin Project Thank You

March 8, 2013

Chamber Ambassadors and board members recently began this year's 'Project Thank You' to show appreciation to members for their support. Three years ago the Chamber of Commerce began this program to focus it's energy once each year toward reminding members how important their support is to the organization. Chamber board members and chamber ambassadors are busily delivering this year's Plan of Work, Chamber Stationary, and Chamber Memo Clips along with a personal banquet invitation to it's valued members.

Chamber Membership signifies a willingness to lend financial backing to this vital organization for our town while providing a center for promotion of the community as a whole. Chamber members enjoy the benefit of displaying their individual business information in the lobby of the chamber and one the chamber website. This makes their business accessible to existing and future residents, while at the same time lending accessibility to a strong network of business leaders.

Although the chamber's focus is promoting local member businesses though phone, web and visitor promotion this organization also recognizes that they would be unable to carry out their day to day operations for the community and it's visitors without the membership base that sustains it and for that the chamber staff, board and volunteers are very appreciative.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to remind everyone that they are truly defined by their Mission Statement that reads "Individuals making Borger Better by promoting: economic development, community awareness and civic pride."

If you would like more information on the chamber and how to become part of this progressive group of leaders don't hesitate to give us a call.
