FRITCH - Carolyn J. Gomoke, 70, of Fritch, died Monday Feb. 13, 2012, in Plainview, Texas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday Feb. 16, at Faith Baptist Church in Fritch. Officiating will be Don Rice, pastor and Jeremy Rice. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in the Garden of Evergreen under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Carolyn was born Jan. 23, 1942, in Borger, Texas, to E. O’Dell Hanner and Cleo Shelburn Hanner. She married Charles Gomoke Aug. 27, 1960 at New Port, Oregon. She was a housewife and loved to read and sew. She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Charles, sons, Jeffry Allan and wife Crystal of Lubbock, Texas and Corbet Bryan and wife Teresa of Frisco, Texas; brother Gordon Hanner of Oregon, sister Vicky H. Grant of Dallas, Texas; and grandsons, Johnathan, Aaron and Ethan.
