Anybody around the area knows the Bushland Lady Falcons volleyball team is a powerhouse and the Lady Eagles were able to experience it at home Tuesday. Bushland came to Fritch with big hits and great defense. They used every scheme possible in scoring points. Fritch had some chances to turn things around but in game one the Lady Falcons took advantage of ball placing to win 25-12.
In the second game, Fritch started playing better and making things happen. Senior Jacy Judd hit some down balls to keep the Lady Eagles alive. Bushland did what it took and came away to win 25-15.
Fritch Lady Eagles began fighting in game three and at some points in the game, lead the game. They worked together and had some great defensive plays from Seniors Hailey Wilson and Madi Allen. Backroll defense was a hard job for the Lady Eagles against the hard hitting Lady Falcons. Meanwhile, Fritch had payback with Summer Tubbs, to make the Lady Falcons stay on their toes. She ended the night with 7 kills. Bushland took game three 25-20. Fritch travels Saturday to Highland Park, a wonderful rival, looking to upset.
