After having the bulk of the week off due to testing, high school baseball and softball teams return to the field this weekend.
After run-ruling Dalhart on Saturday, the Borger Bulldogs will try to move to 2-0 in District 1-3A play when they host the Perryton Rangers on Saturday, beginning at noon at Huber Park.
The Rangers opened district play with a loss to Pampa last Saturday.
The Borger Lady Bulldogs softball team will try to get into the District 1-3A win column against the Perryton Rangerettes, beginning at noon on Saturday at Agnes Howe Park.
The Sanford-Fritch Lady Eagles softball team opens District 1-2A play on Saturday by hosting Amarillo River Road at noon.
The Sanford-Fritch Eagles baseball team will host the Clarendon Broncos in non-district action beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The West Texas High Comanches will play two games this weekend, starting tonight when they host Amarillo San Jacinto in non-district action beginning at 4:30 p.m. today in Stinnett. The Comanches will return to District 6-1A play on Saturday in Shamrock beginning at noon.
Tonight the West Texas High Lady Comanches travel to take on the Clarendon Lady Broncos in District 6-1A action beginning at 4:00 p.m.
