Bulldogs have no problems defeating Dalhart 15-4

On Saturday afternoon, the Borger Bulldogs put on a hitting clinic up in Dalhart by sending six balls out of the park for homeruns on their way to defeating the Dalhart Golden Wolves 15-4 in District 1-3A action.
Borger senior catcher Brandon Garcia continued showcasing his power at the plate by sending three over the fence along with senior centerfielder Garrett Irwin leaving Dalhart with three homers at the plate as well.
Senior Hunter Hertel got the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.
Borger inproves to 12-10-1 overall and 3-1 in District 1-3A play, where they sit tied with Perryton for first place after the Rangers defeating Pampa 11-9 on Saturday.
Borger will next try to take sole possession of first place tomorrow night when they host Perryton starting at 5:00 p.m. at Huber Park.
The Rangers defeated Borger 18-8 in their first meeting in district play.
