Brian R. Wallace, 50, of Paris, Virginia, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Wallace was born June 8, 1964 in San Diego, California, son of Jimmie Richard Wallace and Ruth Ellen Sijan.
He attended George Mason University where he received a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
He was a nurse practitioner and director of bariatric surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC and was the co-owner of The Cleaning Authority.
He had served in the U. S. Navy from 1986 – 1991.
He was a member of Sigma Theta International.
He married Terry Ann Pfeffer Wallace on February 14, 1993 in Arlington, Virginia.
Surviving with his wife are his father, Jimmie R. Wallace and step-mother, Jean Wallace, of Borger, TX; mother, Ruth E. Sijan of Maple Valley, WA; step-father, Jack Glanville of Paris, VA; daughter, Kelly Ann Wallace; son, Joshua Brian Wallace, both of Paris, VA; and three sisters, Leslee Parks of Enumclaw, WA, Cyndee Hickman and Sherry Kirklin, both of Borger, TX.
His brothers, Darrell Dwain Jones and Thomas Glanville, Jr. preceded him in death.
The family will receive friend from 2–3 p.m. with a memorial service being held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Pastor Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to George Mason University School of Nursing, 4400 University Dr., MS:1A3, Fairfax, VA 22030.
