Brenda Kay Williams

July 30, 2014

Brenda Kay Williams, 69, of Borger went to be with our Lord on July 26, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. The oldest of five children, Brenda was born in Lubbock, Texas on April 4, 1945 to John and Christine Rogers. She was raised in Carlsbad, NM where she met the love of her life, Robert Lee Williams in March, 1962. They were married January 5, 1963 and celebrated their 50th Anniversary in a surprise vow renewal ceremony December 23, 2012.
Brenda was a loving wife and mother, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Best known as “Grandma”, her childlike heart was always full of love for her grand-babies, great-grand-babies, nieces and nephews. Those lucky enough to be one of her’s, whether by birth or choice, knew unconditional love and acceptance. She considered her family and friends her greatest treasure. She loved to travel with her husband, having visited most states in the US. Brenda was an accomplished poker player and tournament winner. Her bright smile and gentle nature will be missed by all who knew her.
