Borger woman arrested for credit card abuse, forgery

A Borger woman was arrested last Monday for credit card abuse and forgery.
On Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, Lori Lynn Baker, 29, of Borger, was arrested by the Borger Police Department on 14 counts of credit card abuse and one count of forgery of a financial instrument in reference to a lengthy multi-jurisdictional investigation, Lt. Anthony Griffin of the BPD said.
The investigations remain ongoing and involve multiple agencies including the BPD, Amarillo Police Department, Parmer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Weatherford Police Department.
Lt. Griffin said the ongoing investigations are in regards to identity theft. Additional charges are expected to be filed at a later date and time in regards to these investigations.
