Borger Tennis team takes second place in Dumas Tournament

On Thursday, the Borger High School Tennis team came in second place in the Dumas Tournament.
Taking second place in their divisions were Cassandra Fonseca and Lindsey Murley in Girls Doubles and Ariel Sanders in Girls Singles. Rebecca Benz won the consolation round in Girls Singles defeating a player from Amarillo High.
Abbie Madden and Alix Whitworth finished in third place in Mixed Doubles.
Other team members who performed well in the tournament include Daniel Salinas, Sterling Shelton, and Austin Embers.
The Borger High School Tennis team will take a week off for spring break and will return to action on Tuesday, March 20th competing in the Masters Tournament against Dumas, Amarillo High, and Canyon.
