Borger resident killed in weekend accident

A Borger resident was killed and another critically injured in an accident occurring late Saturday evening.
On September 24, 2011, an eastbound Ford Mustang traveling on Highway 152 slid into a ravine, causing the vehicle to overturn.
According to Department of Public Safety reports, the driver, identified as Jimmy Dale Ream, 35, was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt and suffered severe head injures.
The passenger, Kimberly Ann Warren, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene around 10:25 p.m. by a Justice of the Peace, who ordered an autopsy be performed.
Investigators stated Warren was wearing a safety belt at the time of the wreck.
Ream was transported to Northwest Texas Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
