Borger PD searching for vehicle theft suspect

James Dean Lee Lee classified as “armed and dangerous” by department

A Borger man suspected of vehicle theft is being sought out by the Borger Police Department.
Lt. Anthony Griffin of the BPD said the department is actively searching for an individual in connection with several stolen vehicles in the Texas Panhandle.
The department is looking for James Dean Lee, 31, of Borger.
Lee also currently has an active Pardon and Parole Warrant for an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Lt. Griffin said that Lee should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached and/or attempted to be apprehended unless it is by a law enforcement official.
Anyone having information in regards to Lee’s whereabouts and/or criminal activity is asked and encouraged to immediately contact the BPD at 806-273-0930 or the Hutchinson County Crime Stoppers at 806-274-6371.
If calling into Crime Stoppers, any and all callers may remain anonymous. However, Crime Stoppers does ask that the caller leave a good working contact number when calling in tips.
The caller is asked to do this in the event that the tip proves to be accurate and/or relevant.
A Crime Stoppers representative can then contact the caller back with any reward information due in regards to the tip.
Crime Stoppers rewards range from $50 up to $1,000 for accurate and/or relevant information.
