Borger PD continues campaign against narcotics

January 19, 2012

The Borger Police Department is continuing its aggressive campaign against illegal narcotics and criminal activity associated with them.
This campaign resulted in a large scale drug arrest after another extensive investigation into illegal narcotics in the City of Borger and surrounding communities. Due to cooperative investigations and intelligence sharing between the Borger Police Department and Fritch Police Department, the latest investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately $17,000 worth of methamphetamines that was intended for distribution throughout the communities, Lt. Anthony Griffin of the BPD said.
The conclusion to the latest investigation came on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012. On this date, multiple “target” locations were converged upon by BPD.
In the 400 block of Madison Street, a traffic stop was conducted, resulting in three arrests.
•Robert Clayton Lanier, 50, of Borger
•Tracy Lynn Morris, 39, of Borger
•Monica Zuniga, 32, of Fritch
All three were arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1), which is a felony of the first degree. Additionally, Zuniga was also charged with possession of marijuana under two ounces. All three were transported to BPD where they were processed and incarcerated in the City of Borger Jail Facility.
The vehicle, which was occupied by the individuals at the time of the arrest, was seized. Forfeiture proceedings for the vehicle will be conducted and filed.
During the traffic stop and arrest of Lanier, Morris, and Zuniga, other BPD officers executed an evidentiary search warrant at 318 North Deahl Street, Apartment #5. This search warrant resulted in the arrest of Raul Rodriguez. He was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance under one gram.
Rodriguez was transported to the Borger Police Department where he was processed and incarcerated in the City of Borger Jail Facility.
Later in the evening, Borger police officers searched another residence located at 139 Froma Street. During this search, a large quantity of methamphetamines was located, along with other illegal narcotics. This search resulted in three more arrests.
•Christopher Robert Murray, 25, of Borger
•Warren Edward Crizer, 49, of Borger
•Ravonda Jean Crizer, 55, of Borger
Murray was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Warren and Ravonda Crizer were each charged with delivery of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1), which is a felony of the first degree.
All three subjects were transported to the Borger Police Department where they were processed and incarcerated in the City of Borger Jail Facility.
Lt. Griffin said BPD would like to thank all of the area law enforcement agencies for their cooperation and assistance in this aggressive enforcement campaign. The department would also like to thank all of the citizens of the communities as well for their assistance and alert vigilance in reporting illegal narcotics activity and all other criminal activity.

Where was all this aggressive campaign when Frank Fernandez and his group was dealing for years? Jimmy and the boys are sure making a lot of noise now that someone else had the nads to arrest Fernandez. What say, Jimmy?

Where were they?
