April 13, 2012

On Friday, local citizen Tommy Hooper was involved in a tractor accident.
Borger emergency crews responded to the call on April 13, 2012 at 5:10 p.m. on the 200 block of Evergreen.
According to Fire Marshal Jerry Langwell, he was attempting to pull a tree stump out of the ground when the tractor flipped over and landed on top of him. Emergency crews worked close to 30 minutes to lift the tractor and free Hooper, before he was transported by Lifestar to an Amarillo hospital.
