Borger man crashes into local business

A Borger man was charged with DWI after crashing into a local business early Wednesday morning.
According to witness reports, Donney Schultz, 27, of Borger, left the Main Street Bar at 12:05 a.m. and was headed north on Main Street.
He ran the stop sign at the intersection of Seventh and Main Streets and struck a vehicle.
He continued to proceed down Main, and ended up hitting and side-swiping a second vehicle in the process.
After this, Schultz’s vehicle spun out of control, causing him to hit Dake’s Restaurant. He was taken to Golden Plains Community Hospital for treatment.
According to Lt. Anthony Griffin of the BPD, he was later arrested for DWI and was incarcerated in the Borger City Jail. The people in the vehicles struck by Schultz received minor non life-threatening injuries.
