Borger InterBank filling “Stockings for Soldiers”

Borger InterBank is working to stuff stockings this year to give our soldiers a bit of holiday cheer.
This is the fourth year Borger InterBank has done the “Stockings for Soldiers” project for the troops. All wanting to give will need to take their donations to Borger InterBank by Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 so all items can be shipped to the soldiers by December 2, 2011. Items can also be dropped off at Jim’s Diamonds shop, Bennigan’s, and the Stinnett InterBank.

Here is a list of the soldiers’ needs and wants:
•Protein bars
•Granola bars
•Beef sticks, jerky, Slim Jim’s (all 6oz.- 12oz.)
•Canned or dried fruit
•Fruit snacks
•Top ramen
•Canned soup
•Dinty Moore, ravioli, stew
•Trail mix, nuts, sunflower seeds (all personal size)
•Sm. box of crackers
•Instant oatmeal, boxed cereal
•Easy mac-n-cheese
•Microwave popcorn
•Canned tuna or chicken
•Peanut butter
•Jelly (no glass containers)
•Chocolate/ hard candies
•Licorice, swedish fish
•Pre-sweetened Kool-Aid / Gatorade
•Pre-sweetened Lipton tea mix
•Hot chocolate/cocoa/cider packets
•Clothing/ apparel
•Men’s work /crew socks
•Black or white Under Armour wear/cool max t-shirts
•Small, medium, large and X-large jogging pants
•Cool/sand scarves
•72” boot lace sun/ safety glasses
