Borger girls take third place in Perryton Invitational

On Saturday, the Borger High School varsity girls golf team finished in third place at the Perryton Invitational.
Gruver won the tournament shooting a team score of 378 followed Pampa in second place with a 390 followed by Borger just two strokes back with a 392.
Gruver’s Halli Mann took first place overall with an 85, while Borger’s Clarice Myers and Hali Southall tied for fifth place with both shooting a 93.
The Borger girls will next take part in the first round of the District 1-3A Tournament in Dumas on Monday, April 2nd.
Team scores: 1. Gruver 378 2. Pampa 390 3. Borger 392 4. Amarillo Holy Cross 441 5. Boise City 558
Top five individual: 1. Halli Mann, Gruver 85; 2. (tie) Alison Alexander, Pampa 88 and Malory Martin , Spearman 88; 4. Lindsey Brown, Pampa 92; 5. (tie) Clarice Myers, Borger and Hali Southall, Borger 93.
Other Borger scores: Trinity McCarty 101, Haley Montoya 105, Morgan Brown 108.
