Borger boys win, girls tie against Pampa

On Friday evening, the Borger Bulldogs came away with a big 7-1 win over the Pampa Harvesters, while the Borger Lady Bulldogs and Pampa Lady Harvesters played to a 1-1 tie in District 5-4A soccer action.

The Bulldogs dominated the Harvesters with five Borger players putting goals into the net. Borger goalkeeper Alberto Rangel had a good game coming up with five saves.
The Bulldogs are 1-0-1 in district play

The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Harvesters each put in goals in the first half but could get a ball into the net in the second half to play to the 1-1 tie.
The Lady Bulldogs go to 0-1-1 in district play.
Sammie Huckabee had the lone Borger goal and Julie Levario had the assist.
Both Borger teams travel to Canyon on Tuesday.
