Borger’s 86th birthday just around the corner!

The Hutchinson County Museum will be holding festivities to celebrate Borger’s birthday on March 11, 2012.

Several young ladies will be walking the stage this weekend as contestants at the 38th Annual Miss Tri-City Area Hutchinson County Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by the Borger Noon Lions Club.
The pageant will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at 6:30 p.m in the Frank Phillips College Auditorium. This year’s scholarships awarded for the winners will be $ 500 for West Texas A&M University, $3,135 for Oklahoma Panhandle State University(equivalent of one full academic year waiver), $500 for Amarillo College and $500 for Clarendon College.
Contestants for this year’s Little Miss Tri-City title are; Kenzie Gutierrez, Kinley Beagle, Joslyn Cunningham, Lilly Hogan, Brooklyn Tate, and Bella Adame.
Those running for Junior Miss Tri-City include Mallee Whtimire, Jacqueline Baeza, Manche Gibbs, and Ashtyn Camel.
Young Miss Tri-City Contestants are Haley Vinyard, Ireland Ellyse Reinhart, Aspen Tracy-Wise, Jaiton Hernandez, Leslie Cardenas, Lauren Paige Hogan, and Taylor Packebush.
Running for Miss Tri-City are Holly Jones, Kelsey Gail Dickerson, Yamileika Sánchez, Kaitlyn Vinyard, and Lyzette Rangel.
