Bob Stombaugh, 75, of Borger, died Monday, July 9, 2012 in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the “Garden Of Love” at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Bob Stombaugh was born August, 7, 1936 in Goodland, Indiana to Kenneth and Martha Stombaugh.
He was a security guard for Guardsmark, and served his country in the United States Army. Bob married Patsy Wynn December 29, 1982 in Lovington, New Mexico.
They moved to Borger September of 1992 from Phoenix, Arizona. He was a Baptist and loved working with his grandkids, tinkering with everything, and taking apart and putting things back together. Bob also liked feeding the birds, and the squirrels. He actually had names for all of the squirrels he fed.
Survivors include his wife Patsy of the home; three daughters; Cindy and Carol Stombaugh, both of Senecaville, Ohio, Cheri Cain and husband Chuck of Senecaville, Ohio; two sons; Robert “Bobby” Stombaugh and wife Kalli of Borger, Tobin Wynn, also of Borger; a sister Betty Molter and husband Lloyd of Indiana; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, a brother John, and a granddaughter Sara Olivia Cain.
