BNH welcomes new sports editor

August 2, 2012

Hello, Borger! I am your new sports editor for the Borger News Herald.
I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in Morse, Tx just north of Borger.
I went to Pringle-Morse until 8th grade, and I graduated in 2002 from West Texas High (Go Comanches!).
I graduated from WTAMU in Canyon with a business degree in 2007. My son, Jace was also born that year. He is a fantastic four year old, and probably knows more about sports than I do.
We are big, huge Texas Ranger fans, Packer fans, and even though I get lots of grief here in Texas for this, we also love the Sooners. You can try to convert me, but it will never work.
I started my own photography business, Red Bug Photography in 2009, and I continue doing that when I’m able.
I just recently moved back here from Scottsdale, AZ where it is hot and beautiful, but I sure missed Texas!
I enjoy photography, a good Texas thunderstorm, Red Diamond sweet tea, all things vintage, playing baseball with my son, shopping at Target, surfing Pinterest for crafty ideas, and tasty drinks from Sonic.
I am ready to be your go-to sports girl for Hutchinson county. Let’s get this season started!
