Kindergarten students from Paul Belton Early Childhood Center enjoyed some old-fashioned square dancing. The activity was part of the school’s participation in Texas Public School week. The students will be singing Texas songs at various banks throughout town today.

Dan Redd, CEO of the Borger Economic Development Corporation, gave a positive update on several of the existing projects backed by the EDC and the potential for some new ones saying “things are definitely happening” during the March meeting with the BEDC Board of Directors.
Redd opened his presentation talking about Blue Creek Mercantile, which is off to a great start producing and selling gun ammunition, with Redd saying, “these guys are selling everything they can make.”
