The Borger ISD Foundation has six scholarships available for high school seniors about to walk the stage this May.
There are two Class of 1950 scholarships, worth $250 each, and two Class of 53,54,55,56,and 57 scholarships, worth $500.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, students must be 2011 BHS graduates, had one or both parents or grandparents graduate from Borger High School, and have plans to attend a college, university, or vocational school.
There are also two Class of 1980 scholarships available, each worth $350.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, students must be 2011 BHS graduates, a GPA of 3.0 or above, and have a copy of their transcript attached to their application. They must also have plans to attend a college, university, or vocational school.
Applications for these scholarships may be picked up in the counselorâ€™s office at the high school or at the administrative center located at 200 East Ninth.
Applications must be turned in by Friday, May 13, in the counselorâ€™s office.
