The Borger Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. tomorrow evening in the board room at the BISD Administration Building, 200 East Ninth.
Personnel matters will be discussed, which include resignations, the superintendentâ€™s recommendations regarding employment, and substitutes to review.
The board will also approve items under its consent agenda, which include donations, a technology plan update, Interquest Detective Canine Contract Renewal for 2012-13, 2012 Borger High School candidates for graduation, April 2012 payroll and disbursements, donations, and the minutes of its April regular meeting.
Action will be taken on a low attendance waiver for 2011-12 and budget amendments. The board will also hear recommendations and commendations from the Borger Classroom Teachers Association and will hear a first reading of Policy Update 93 affecting local policies.
Campus reports will be given on Borger Middle School, Crockett Elementary School, and Paul Belton Early Childhood Center. Enrollment for April 2012 and dates to review will be discussed under the superintendentâ€™s report. Financial and tax reports will also be presented.
Future agenda items will be discussed, and the board will hold a time of open forum.
This time is open for the public to express its views. Speakers are allowed five minutes, and the board cannot comment on items that are brought up in open forum.
