BCC hosting weekend Halloween party

The Borger Country Club is inviting area residents to its membership drive Halloween Party this Saturday.
Borger Country Club General Manager Becky Prather and the board of directors are hosting a “Phantom of the Opera” themed party in the BCC Ballroom from 7 p.m to midnight.
There will be a live DJ from Amarillo, appetizers, and a dance. During the event the BCC will offer half off membership fees for the first year. The entrance fee is $20 a couple. It is not required to dress in costume.
The BCC is recently known for winning “Best Taste” at the Taste of Hutchinson County. It specializes in everything from private dinner parties to weddings, receptions, proms, golf outings and tournaments. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course for members to enjoy. It spans over 140 acres, features a course rating of 68.9 from the tips and a par of 72. The club also offers a restaurant and lounge.
During the summer, there is a swimming pool and tennis court as well. For more information about the party or becoming a member, call 273-5603.
