Area resident wins trip to “The Price is Right”

An area resident may get to “come on down!”Kim Charles, 55, of Pampa, who works at Golden Plains Community Hospital in Borger, won a trip for two to Las Vegas, Nev. After losing a “Price is Right” scratch-off, Charles sent in the ticket for a second chance to win. She and 24 other people won this trip.The trip includes a four-day and three-night stay, travel expenses, two show tickets, tickets to “The Price is Right, and $5,000. Charles stated that this is not her first time to win by sending in a losing scratch-off. In the past she won a cowboys jersey signed by Miles Austin and miscellaneous items from the Monopoly game. “It is exciting to be on ‘The Price is Right’ and have another chance to win,” she said.
