Are you tough enough to wear pink?

October 13, 2011

Are you tough enough to wear pink for breast cancer awareness? The Borger High School cheerleaders are asking the community this very question.
The cheerleaders are selling bulldog t-shirts through this Friday at school. The shirt says "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" and is available in the following designs: *100% cotton bright, hot pink shirt with front white distressed design *100% cotton black shirt with front bright pink distressed design Orders are due with money to Terri Mills on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011. Checks may be made payable to BHS Varsity Cheerleaders. Shirt pick-up will be at the BHS cafeteria at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct.
27, for those who are not BISD students or staff members.
In addition to selling the t-shirts, the cheerleaders are also cheering with pink pom-poms throughout the month of October, organized a "pink out" of the Dalhart volleyball game Tuesday evening, and held a "pink out" day on Tuesday at BHS during the school's homecoming festivities.

On Nov. 4, the cheerleaders will be collecting funds at the final regular season football game of the Borger Bulldogs. Proceeds will be going to the American Cancer Society through Hutchinson County Relay For Life.
