Amarillo Symphony Kids 2015 presents Carnegie Hall Link Up

The Amarillo Symphony, the leader of orchestral music in the Texas Panhandle since 1924, announces the return of Symphony Kids with Music Director and Conductor Jacomo Rafael Bairos at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts. The educational concert experience is designed for students in grades 3-5.

"Last year, more than 4,000 elementary students joined us for this joyful exploration of classical music; we are eager to bring this energy to the 2015 performances," said Irma Borup, educational coordinator for the Amarillo Symphony. "For many, Symphony Kids will be a child's first experience with a live orchestra and this series of concerts is designed to build a memory to last generations."

Performances are scheduled for Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19 at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts. Concerts begin at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. both days.
