The Hutchinson County Hospital District Board of Directors will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in the executive board room of Golden Plains Community Hospital.
The board will be discussing and acting on the signing of a construction contract with Kelly Wood Company. The company will be in charge of construction for the new medical office building.
Action will also be taken on a focused report on Fritch and Stinnett EMS subsidies, the realtor for the sale of the old hospital land, and the new life pack defibrillators. Updates will be given on the last two items.
The board will be discussing and acting on the calling of an election for the HCHD Board of Directors in the form of a resolution, the posting of a notice of general election, the posting of an order of election for other political subdivisions HCHD, the charity care and patient financial assistance policy, the 2012 HCHD Audit Report from BKD LLP, and will hear a Roosevelt Renovation update.
Under the finance committee report, the board will discuss and act on disbursement approval, the accounts receivable aging report, MOB expenses, and an intergovernmental transfer. The board will also act on the December 2012 financial statement under the CFO report.
The board will hear the HCHD EMS report for December 2012 and the Fritch and Stinnett EMS reports for December 2012. Updates will also be given by GPCH CEO Dennis Jack on the medical office building and physicians.
Recommendations for future agenda items will be discussed. Action will also be taken on meeting minutes for January, and a time of public comment will be held.
