Golden Plains Hill Top Cafe

Georgia Hughes works at Golden Plains Community Hospital and says she enjoys the food served at the cafe. Several other diners were very enthusiastic about the quality of the food, also. Area residents are welcome to come to the cafe for lunch and/or breakfast.

Watch Dogs on the Prowl at Gateway School in Borger

Borger's Gateway School will have it's "Watch Dogs", Dads of Great Students" helping out at the school this year. Volunteers are needed. Contact the school if you could help out to keep the kids safe at school.

The Lady Eagles got the win against Friona Tuesday night. Sanford-Fritch won in five games 27-25, 17-25, 25-19, 20-25, 15-12.

West Texas volleyball win Bi-district championship

The West Texas High volleyball team won their Bi-district match Tuesday night in Plainview. The Lady Comanches will now travel to Snyder on Saturday to play Van Horn at 3 p.m.
