It is time once again for St. Andrew United Methodist Church's annual breakfast.
On Saturday, Feb. 16, the 61st annual pancake and waffle breakfast, sponsored by the St. Andrew United Methodist Men, will take place starting at 6:30 a.m.
The breakfast, which will run until 11 a.m., will be held at St. Andrew UMC, 100 Amaryllis Street, in the fellowship hall.

Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, there are some changes in the athletic schedule for today and tomorrow. They are as follows:

Clouds will begin to work their way in throughout the afternoon hours as our next upper level storm approaches for tonight and tomorrow morning. Highs will top out in the mid 40s with winds out of the E/SE at 10-20.

Borger ISD
The Borger ISD board of trustees will be taking some action on state waivers during its upcoming meeting.
The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in the board conference room of the Borger ISD Administration Building, 200 East Ninth.
The board will consider approval of state waivers for early release, staff development days, and minimum class size exceptions.
2-4-13 Deputies responded to a Copper Theft at the intersection of Hwy 136 and Fairlanes Blvd.
2-7-13 Gary Lynn Jones was arrested on three felony warrants #13-0080A - Indecency w/Child sexual contact, #13-0080B - Aggravated Sexual assault child, and #13-0080C - Indecency with a child exposes.
2-8-13 Deputies responded to the Hutchinson County Jail to assist with an unruly inmate.
2-8-13 Deputies responded to a overdose on Yuma Dr. in Fritch.
2-8-13 Deputies responded to a Burglary of Habitation call on Canyon Circle in Fritch.
PAMPA - Clint Trey Brown, 29, went home to Heaven on February 8, 2013 in Amarillo.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ricky Pfeil, pastor of Kingdom Keys Church in Amarillo, and Rev. Nick Matthews, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

It’s going to be pretty windy around here this weekend with an upper-level storm system passing north of us. There’s a very slim chance for a shower or storm Saturday night, but odds are better we’ll stay dry. The clouds will decrease on Sunday, but so will the temperatures. Highs will be in the lower to middle 60s Saturday and lower 50s on Sunday. Winds will be strongest Saturday afternoon at 20-30 mph with gusts of 50+ mph possible.

Amarillo, TX Feb. 6: The Amarillo Venom are holding a press conference on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at Seven Bar and Grill at 3130 S. Soncy Rd.
The press conference is an opportunity for the Amarillo Venom to present their championship rings sponsored by Parker Orthopedics. Venom quarterback Nate Davis will also be at the press conference after landing in Amarillo on Friday.
