Fire damages home in Borger

March 13, 2014

A fire has occurred at the 300 block of Grand street in Borger. Officials have several blocks shut down for what appears to have been a grass fire that spread to a mobile home. The trailer has sustained severe damage and the yard next door has been almost completely consumed.

Flames at this point seem to be all out, but authorities are still working the scene and smoldering debris is still being sprayed with foam. More details will be released as they become available. For now, the recommendation is to avoid the area.
