On Saturday, the Sanford-Fritch Eagles will take on the Cisco Lobos in the 2A Division II Area playoff round.
The game between the Eagles and Lobos will take place at Wichita Falls ISD Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Adult Tickets: $6.00, Student Tickets: $4.00

On Tuesday night, the Borger Lady Bulldogs won their 2011-12 home opener against the White Deer Lady Bucks 58-42 at Tex Hanna Gym.
The game featured some sloppy play that is expected arly in the season, including a lot of turnovers and cold shooting. But the young Lady Bulldogs showed that this team potentially will be a fun one to watch all season, due to solid play on both ends of the court.
In the second half, the Lady Bulldogs came out playing more aggressive on both ends of the court.
On Saturday, the Johnson Park Youth Center hosted their second official disc golf tournament that drew in 27 entries from around the area.
Johnson Park Youth Center Supervisor Annadon Keys was pleased with the turnout and tournament saying, â€śWe all had a great time, I think everyone enjoyed being involved with the Disc Golf Tournament today. They had nothing but compliments for the Johnson Park Disc Golf course from its design, up keep of course and our facility. Weather permitting we will be planning more disc golf
tournaments in the future.â€ť
Late last week, the Frank Phillips College Plainsmen basketball team took a road trip into Colorado which proved not to be too enjoyable.
On Thursday, November 10th, the Plainsmen came up short 74-69 at Trinidad State.
The Plainsmen had several players get in double figures in scoring led by Taquan McDew 17, Akeem Johnson 13 , Ronald Scott 11, and James Boonstoppel 11.
On Friday, the Plainsmen traveled to La Juanta where they came up short against Otero Junior College 81-68.
Leading scorers were McDew 15, Johnson 13, Scott 11 and Alex Zivkovic who had nine points and eight rebounds.
On Saturday, the Borger Bulldogs Cross County team finished the 2011 season coming in 12th place in the 3A State Cross Country meet in Round Rock.
Kaufman took first place in the 3A boys team standings with 61 points followed by Sanger in second place with 80 points and Liberty Hill in third place with 97 points. Borger finished with 260 points.
PLAINVIEW-On Saturday evening, the Sanford Fritch Eagles fought hard to beat the Forsan Buffs 33-26 for the 2A District II Bi-District title.
The Eagles racked up 560 yards offensively, with junior running back Colton Valle having 381 yd. alone.
It was truly Valleâ€™s best game all season.
The Eagles won the toss but opted to use it second half.
A couple good runs by Forsans quarterback Foster Burchett and running back Trevor Burchett moved the chains.
But a costly fumble recovered by Sanford-Fritchâ€™s Tyler Blankinship set up the Eagles first score.
The West Texas Comanches played true to fashion against the Quanah Indians in Pampa Friday night. They kept their fans on the edge of their seats in several games this year, and Friday night was no exception. WT never led, but kept the score tied or within a touchdown the entire game. However, penalties and a costly fumble on a pitchout in the fourth quarter, ended up costing them the ball game. After a 61 yard punt put the Comanches at their own 12 yard line, the pitchout ended up on the ground and was recovered in the end zone by the Indians to put them up 32-26 with 6:25 left.
CANYON-On Friday night, the Lubbock Cooper Pirates were able to pull away from the Borger Bulldogs in their 34-9 win in the 3A Division I Bi-District playoff round at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.
The Bulldogs were able to gain 304 yards on the ground, but were able to only find the end zone once on offense during the night.
The Pirates received the opening kickoff and started a decent drive reaching midfield.
Saturday night in Plainview, the Sanford-Fritch Eagles will take on the Forsan Buffaloes in the 2A Division II Bi-District playoff round.
Two weeks ago, the Eagles finished the regular season on a positive note with an impressive 42-14 win over Spearman, then enjoyed a bye last week.
The Eagle offense came alive during District 1-2A Div II play, leading to the team having the second ranked offense in the Texas Panhandle in Class 3A and 2A, averaging 376 yards per game.
One of the best Bi-District playoff match ups in West Texas this weekend appears to be the 3A Division I battle between the Borger Bulldogs and the Lubbock Cooper Pirates.
The two teams enter the game in similar fashion. Both struggled a little in non-district play, yet were able to rebound and go undefeated in winning district championships.
The Pirates enter the playoffs coming off a big 20-14 win over a good Lubbock Estacado team in the regular season finale.
