[Amarillo, April 30]: The Amarillo Venom will be holding a press conference at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 at Famous Daveâ€™s located at 8518 W. Interstate 40.
Amarillo Venom head coach Julian Reese will be speaking to the media about the upcoming matchup this Saturday against the Abilene Bombers. Venom quarterback Nate Davis will also return to action this week. This weekend is also Los Venom weekend as well as Ladies Night.

[AMARILLO, TX] â€“ The Amarillo Sox announced that individual single-game tickets will go on sale Monday, May 6th at 9:00am. Tickets can be purchased over the phone or in person at the Sox office at 801 S. Polk in Downtown Amarillo.
[Amarillo, April 22]: The Amarillo Venom will be holding a press conference at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at Famous Daveâ€™s located at 8518 W. Interstate 40.
Amarillo Venom head coach Julian Reese will be speaking to the media about the come-from-behind victory this past Saturday versus the Laredo Rattlesnakes. Nate Davis will also be returning to the field next Saturday as the Amarillo Venom take on the Abilene Bombers (3-1).
Sanford-Fritch Lady Eagle senior Kelsey Ham is participating in the Golden Spread All-Star tournament this weekend in Amarillo and signing her college letter of intent next week.
Her inspiring story of overcoming what should have been a season-ending injury her senior year, along with her college plans, will be featured in a coming issue of the BNH.

Three Borger tennis players reached the quarterfinals Wednesday in the Region I-3A Tennis Championships at the McLeod Tennis Center at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
-Micah Wilson beat Price Carpenter, of Burnet, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 in the first round of boys singles, but he then lost to Kie Jones, of Big Spring, 6-3, 6-4.
-In mixed doubles, the Borger team of Aaron Madden and Lauryn Ammerman beat their first-round opponents 6-0, 6-1 but lost in the quarterfinals to Max Herber and Maggie Kennon, of Vernon, 6-3, 6-1. Madden and Ammerman are just freshmen.
[April 17, 2013 AMARILLO, TX] The Amarillo Sox announced today that a public tryout will be held on May 4, 2013. The tryout will be held at the Amarillo National Bank Sox Stadium. The tryout will start at 9:00 am. The cost for the tryout will be $25, and anyone interested in trying out needs to bring their own equiptment. Registration will begin at 8:30 am.
GM Mark Lee stated "We have found some pretty good talent in the past at these tryouts."
