The Borger Lady Bulldogs hosted the Pampa Lady Harvesters on Tuesday night with revenge on their minds. The previous district matchup between these two teams went to five sets with the Lady Dogs falling short. It was a hard-fought battle, but the Lady Harvesters pulled out the win in four sets, 25-17, 25-19, 18-25, 25-23. The ladies fall to 2-4 in district play with two games to go.
The Borger Bulldogs traveled to Dumas this week. Despite the brutal weather, we managed to come out with a 5th place team finish with a 327-336-663.
Dylan Coffer finished 5th overall with a 146, four shots out of first. Dylan has placed in the top five in every tournament this fall.

The Sanford-Fritch Eagles were seeking a little revenge on Friday night when Canadian rolled into town, and they did not disappoint. The Eagles were determined and pulled out a thrilling one-point win in a game that literally went down to the last second.
Ryan Blakely broke free for a 50 yard run for the first Eagle score. Colton Valle's extra point was good. Valle then hauled in a 52 yard pass from Blakely for the next score and his kick was true. The Eagles found themselves up 14-0 after the first quarter.
The Lady Bulldogs played in Dalhart on Friday night in an important district contest. The Lady Dogs swept the Lady Wolves when they played in Borger to start district play. That has proved to be Dalhart's only loss, as they are tied with River Road atop the district standings. This time, however, it would be the other way around, and Dalhart swept Borger in three sets: 25-13, 25-18, 25-22.

In the final non-district contest for the Bulldogs, Borger pounded its way to a 19-0 lead behind the backfield tandem of Dontrae Butler and Kendrick Freeman. The two Borger running backs rushed 58 times for a combined 260 yards before Palo Duro raced back Friday night dropping the Bulldogs in a heartbreaker, 20-19 at Bulldog Stadium.
On October 5th, 1962, the Borger Bulldogs took the field against the Palo Duro Dons in front of a home crowd of 6,000 fans. It was the first district game in a season that has been unmatched by any Bulldog football team ever. On this same day in 2012, we honor those men who were a part of that legendary team.
On Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 the team Santos Laguna from Borger brought home a championship by defeating the top two teams in the Amarillo Soccer League in the under ten league. The team showed great dedication and worked very hard to get this win. Making up the team is Allan Cardenas, Sebastian Flores, Jared Ramos, Bryan Fuentes, Jhovany Perez, Michael Baeza, Jarek Ramos, Carlos Beltran, Brandon Saucedo, Jacley Baeza, Kaycee Clawson, and Julian Tarango (who scored the winning goal in the championship). Coaching the team is Juan Ramos and Lorenzo Flores.
The Lady Bulldogs travelled to Pampa to take on the Lady Harvesters this Saturday for a tough district contest. The ladies were down and out in the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-21, but came back and won the next two26-24 and 28-26. In the fifth and final set, they fell 15-10.
Every lady on the team contributed in the contest. They played solid in the first two sets, but Pampa prevailed. The girls cleaned it up in the third and fourth sets.

The Bulldogs (0-4) traveled down the road to Canyon hoping to spoil the 4A Randall Raider's (4-0) homecoming Friday night at Kimbrough Stadium. The Dogs would struggle early in the game, but settled down and came up with some great plays. Although they had some bright moments, they came up on the short side in the contest, 49-6.
