West Texas High was in a must win situation Friday afternoon in Canyon.
Facing Lockney for game two of a best of three series, the Comanches played a much better game than the first one, but they fell a little short, losing 10-8 and bowing out of the baseball postseason.
Errors still plagued the Tribe as they were charged with seven. The team played on turf, which could have caused some of the problems.
Jess Shields pitched 3 and 1/2 innings and had 3 strike outs, walked 1, and allowed 8 runs, just one was earned.

LEVELLAND-On Friday evening, the Levelland Lobos scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull ahead for the 5-3 win over the Borger Bulldogs in the 3A Bi-District Playoff Round.
The win on Friday allowed the Lobos to win the Bi-District series two games to none, after defeating the Bulldogs 16-5 on Thursday evening in Borger.
After seeing game one slip away in the sixth inning on Thursday, the Bulldogs came out focused and put together a better performance on Friday.
