On Friday evening, the Odessa College Lady Wranglers (40-15 overall, 16-2 WJCAC) used two late inning rallies to get the two game sweep over the Frank Phillips College Lady Plainsmen (12-34, 4-14 WJCAC) in WJCAC softball action at LINN Energy Field.

MIDLAND-On Friday, the Frank Phillips College Plainsmen split their two games with Midland College Chaparrals by winning game one 7-5 and dropping game two 0-4 in WJCAC play.
The Plainsmen opened game one by scoring four runs in the top of the first inning to give pitcher Brad Wieck a good cushion to work with from the mound.
Midland chipped away at the lead and pulled to within one run in the fifth inning. But the Plainsmen responded by scoring three in the top of the sixth inning.
Joel Villareal had three RBIs and Nolan Hoskins had two RBIs to lead the Plainsmen at the plate.
