Lady Comanches overpower River Road, 16-6

Tuesday evening in Amarillo, the West Texas High Lady Comanches had no problems getting the win over Amarillo River Road 16-6 in non-district softball action.
The Lady Comanches racked up 13 hits, while senior Abby Summers had a solid game in the pitcher’s circle limiting the Lady Wildcats to three hits, striking out six batters, to go along with six walks.
The Lady Comanches didn’t waste any time getting on the scoreboard by bringing in seven runs in the top of the first inning.

Davidson leads Rebels over the Borger Bulldogs, 11-1

On Tuesday afternoon, Amarillo Tascosa Rebels sophomore pitcher Tucker Davidson showed why he is an athlete to watch in the Texas Panhandle by getting the complete game win on the pitcher’s mound over the Borger Bulldogs 11-1.
The lefty struck out 13 Bulldog batters in five innings of work and only gave up three hits.
The Rebels got on the scoreboard early scoring five runs in the top of the first inning off a infield single and a grand slam.
