Tonight, the Frank Phillips College Plainsmen and Lady Plainsmen will host Western Texas College in a WJCAC basketball doubleheader at the BCAC.
The women’s game will tip off at 5:45 p.m., with the men following at around 7:30 p.m.
The men’s game features two teams who have struggled in WJCAC play by holding identical 1-7 conference records.
After beating the Plainsmen on January 19th, Western Texas has lost six straight, which includes dropping the last four games by an average of 27 points.
Despite the snow storm which swept through the Panhandle, friends and family gathered at Amarillo College on Sunday afternoon to honor local athletes and coaches for their accomplishments in 2011 and the three new inductees into the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame (PSHOF).
Longtime Borger coach E.J. “Jeep” Webb was one of the three new inductees into the PSHOF for the impact he made during his coaching career in the Texas Panhandle.
