Jan 8th .22 Rifle and .22 Pistol any sight, Steel Silhouette-Open class for pistols and rifles. (Rifles 10.2 lbs. max) Large Pistol silhouettes. Entry fee.
Jan 15th .22 Plate and Speed-Open class, one gun for all three events and Single Action Iron sight plate. Entry fee.
Jan 22nd .22 Rabbit' Gun Silhouette, iron sighted sporter types only and .22 pistol iron sights only. Entry fee.
On Wednesday morning, the Borger Lady Bulldogs opened play in the Breckenridge Lions’ Club Christmas Tournament with a 50-31 loss to Breckenridge.
The two teams were tangled up in a close contest in the first half, with Breckenridge only holding a 15-12 lead at halftime.
However, Breckenridge took advantage of being on their home court in the second half by outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 35-19 to pull away for the win.
Junior Emma Wood led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 12 points followed by sophomore Nellie Embers chipping in eight points.
On Friday, January 20th the Borger Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs basketball teams will be hosting a “Pink Out” for HOPE for Cancer Awareness during their doubleheader against Pampa.
Free t-shirts will be handed out at the door, while supplies last, and donations will be taken for HOPE for Cancer Awaremess.
During both games, sausage wraps will be served by the Borger Basketball Booster Club in the concession stand.
The girls game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. followed by the boys at 8:00 p.m.
