FPC Softball team making a difference in the community

December 19, 2011

The Frank Phillips College softball team recently braved the cold weather to help a great cause. Earlier this month, the team spent the afternoon in front of the United Supermarket in Borger ringing bells for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Charity.
“The “miracle” of Christmas is repeated over and over again through the joy of caring and sharing. The traditional red kettle is an integral part of the Christmas scene, with millions of dollars donated each year to aid needy families, seniors, and the homeless, in keeping with the spirit of the season.
