PAMPA â€“ R.E. Stover, 81, died Feb. 19, 2012, in Pampa.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at White Deer Cemetery with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of Carpenterâ€™s Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Canadian â€“ Aubrey Earl â€śPeteâ€ť Yarbrough, 70, died Saturday, February 18 in Canadian. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with Pastor Tim Hall, Associate Pastor of Grace Church officiating. Interment will follow at Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Pete had lived in the Canadian area for the past 45 years and was a Driller in the Oil Field.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Raymond and his sister Carolyn White.
Dean M. â€śDeeâ€ť Branch was born on August 13, 1947, in Mangum, Oklahoma to John â€śRedâ€ť and Deana (Hill) McDonald.
She married Gary Branch on Dec. 27, 1973, in Groom, Texas.
Dee was very active in various patriotic activities throughout her lifetime, loved to crochet, and play games with her online family.
Tom Reyna, 81, of Borger, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
Tom Robles Reyna was born Tuesday, May 6, 1930 in Christine, TX to Ben and Lena (Robles) Reyna. He worked in oilfield construction. Tom married Billie Fennell on August 10, 1956.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Billie in 2010.
Survivors include his brother, Jessie Reyna of Waco, TX; his sister, Florence Sena of Borger, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, February 17, 2012 at Highland Park Cemetery with Jim Castleberry officiating.
Gerald Jueschke, 79, of Borger, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
Robert Gerald Jueschke was born Thursday, December 29, 1932 in Tonkawa, OK to Anthony and Mollie (Chermach) Jueschke. He was Senior Construction Supervisor and Quality Control for Phillips Petroleum before he retired in 1998.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary in 1988; his second wife, Joy in 2011; and his sister, Mary Ann Murry.
Oleta Calvin, 77, of Stinnett, died Feb. 12, 2012, in Stinnett.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger. Officiating will be Brenda Hathcoat of Nowata, Okla. Burial will be at Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Oleta was born March 18, 1934 at Strong City, Okla., to William and Letha Frank Bagby. She was a homemaker.
FRITCH - Carolyn J. Gomoke, 70, of Fritch, died Monday Feb. 13, 2012, in Plainview, Texas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday Feb. 16, at Faith Baptist Church in Fritch. Officiating will be Don Rice, pastor and Jeremy Rice. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in the Garden of Evergreen under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Margaret Ann Jefferson Canter, 73, of Borger, died February 12, 2012 at Borger Healthcare Center.
Family will be conducting a memorial service 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahâ€™s Witnesses. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Stinnett â€“ Johnny Almon Monden, 79, died Sunday February 12 in Lubbock. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the 1st Baptist Church in Stinnett with Rev. Mike Donathan, Pastor, Rev Donald Ward, Pastor of 1st United Methodist Church in Stinnett and Rev. Rhonda Greenwood, Pastor of 1st United Methodist Church in Merkel, TX. Interment with military honors will follow at Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Joe W. Hayes, Sr., 94, of Borger, Texas, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the First Methodist Church of Borger, Texas.
Joe was born in Clarkesville, Texas on April 2, 1917 to William C. Hayes and Dulcenia (Bateman) Hayes. Joe graduated from high school in Allison, Texas and received bachelors and masters degrees from West Texas College. Joe was an outstanding athlete, having lettered four years in both football and basketball at West Texas College, graduating in 1939.
