Sandra Kay Sowell Rodgers, formerly of Borger, passed away May 19, 2012 in Georgetown, TX.
She was born April 24, 1938 to JB and Minilee Sowell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Dell Rodgers and daughter Abby Rodgers Hamilton.
She is survived by one son Jody and his wife, Karen, of Leander, TX and one sister, Wynell Sowell Farrish of Fayetteville, AR and two brother-in-laws, Chick and Troy Rodgers, and nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.

AMARILLO â€“ Shannon Pool, 36, passed away May 23, 2012.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel.
Shannon was born in Plainview on November 14, 1975. She loved her children and her dogs.
David Clive Isom, Jr, age 46, lost his life on January 5, 2012, after being struck by a truck while he and his wife Anna were riding their bicycles. David was an avid cyclist and a true advocate for following safe bicycle practices. As a result of this tragedy, his family is hopeful that all motorists will strive to be more aware and respectful of cyclists.
David was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1983 and attended Amarillo College where he studied commercial electronics.
Francisca Rascon, 58, of Amarillo died Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Amarillo.
Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at the Bethesda Outreach Center, 1101 Fritch Highway with Alejandro Rodarte of Trinity Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.
Mrs. Rascon was born in Coahuila, Mexico. She moved to Amarillo in 2002 from Borger.
She worked as a volunteer at the Bethesda Outreach Center for several years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
PAMPA â€“ Clyde Ferguson, Jr., 83, died May 21, 2012, in Ardmore, Okla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Ed Barker of Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship, officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Ferguson was born October 30, 1928 in Fort Smith, Arkansas where he attended schools. He started driving a truck at the age of 16, retiring after nearly 54 years. He was a great father, brother and uncle who touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
Charlene J. Rowe, 76, of Borger, died Monday May 21, 2012, in Borger.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday May 25, 2012, at Minton Memorial Chapel with Kenneth Thames of Arizona officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Sunset at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Family visitation will be Thursday May 24th at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
WHITE DEER â€“ Stephanie Dawn Harrah-Mooney, 38, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at White Deer United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Jerry R. Lane, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
LaVenna Deannn Herron, 48, of Fritch, died Saturday May, 19, 2012 in Borger.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko officiating. Interment will follow in the â€śGarden of Devotionâ€ť at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Viewing will be Wednesday in Borger at the funeral home.
Paul Edward Pinter, 74, of Amarillo died on Sunday, May 13, 2012.
No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Pinter was born on July 6, 1937 in Abbott, Texas to Alfons and Sydney Pinter. He graduated from Abbott High School in 1955 and then attended North Texas State University.
Loyd Elmer Gooch, 86, of Borger, passed away, Thursday, May 16, 2012.
Loyd Elmer Gooch was born on April 12, 1926 in Logan County, Oklahoma to Corbett Roy Gooch and Minnie Rose (Schnaeburger) Gooch. Mr. Gooch worked for Phillips Petroleum Company as a welding supervisor. He was a member of Keeler Baptist church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Gooch was a WWII Veteran and also involved in the Korean conflict. Mr. Gooch was instrumental in building the ball park for the North Little League, where he coached the team. Loyd Gooch married Darlis Reynolds on May 5, 1942 in Enid, Oklahoma.
