Ezequiel was born November 13, 1991 in Borger, Texas to
Francisco Perez and Yolanda Valenzuela.
James Lee Thompson, 48, passed away Monday,
February 17, 2014.
A memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday at the
Stinnett Church of Christ. Graveside service will be 2 pm

18, 2014 in Amarillo.
Funeral service will held at 11 am Friday, February 21,
Louise Vanoy Owens, 87, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away February 14, 2014. Louise was born August 3, 1926 in Powell, Oklahoma to Samuel Jackson and Lilly Pearl (Parkhill) Jones. . Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her parents; husband Theodore Owens in 1993. Survivors include one daughter Sharon Kay Lanford of San Antonio, Texas; brother Royce and wife LaRue Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister Patricia and husband Elzie Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Margie Askew of Gainesville, Texas.
Jimmie Ray (Rusty) Wheless, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Norman. Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 22 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel with his brother-in-law, Mr. Kay Litterell of Borger, Texas officiating.
Don Parker, 69, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Amarillo.
Sam Joe McLaughlin, 89, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Sam was born April 28, 1924 in Yantis, Texas to William and Minnie McLaughlin. He married Vada Hamil on March 7, 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico. Sam proudly served in the United States Army. He retired after 38 years with J.M. Huber. An avid bowler he enjoyed watching sports on television.
Lottie Swopes was born to Mick and Jewell (Adkins) Rowe on October 20, 1926 at Centrahoma, Ok. She departed this life on February 7th at the Noble Health Care Center at the age of (87) years. Mrs. Swopes attended school at Durham, Ok. She and Mr. Thomas Swopes were United in Marriage on November 18, 1944 at Reydon, Ok. They were married for (66) years before he preceded her in death. They made their home in Norman before moving to Noble in (1978). She was employed with the Cheyenne Nursing Home and Rosewood Manor Nursing Home in Norman before her retirement.
Lillie Simpson Chaffin, 90 of Sanford died Tuesday February 11th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday February 15th at First Baptist Church Sanford with Rev. Larry Brock pastor officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. There will be a visitation Friday from 5: 00 pm to 7:00 pm. Lillie was born April 12,1923 at Whitesboro, Texas to Oliver W. and Myra Womble Simpson. She had been a Sanford resident since 1948. She was a member of First Baptist church of Sanford.
