Betty Jane Snapp, 82, went to be with the Lord and her loved ones on September 30, 2013. She was a resident at the Paonia Care Center where she passed away of natural causes.
Donald Edward â€śDonâ€ť Hill, 82 of Fritch
died Saturday September 28th in Fritch. Memorial services
will be 11:00 am Friday October4th at Trinity Lutheran
Church in Borger with Rev. Dr. Tom Lapacka, pastor officiating.
Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell
Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Don was born December 5, 1930 in Reydon, Oklahoma to
Herbert and Lilly Hammon Hill. He married Ruby Thiems
December 30, 1950 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He worked as
an operator and later as an instrument man for Phillips Petroleum.
He moved to Fritch in 1982 from Phillips. He enjoyed
Carmon Moore Stamps, 90, of Borger, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013.
Carmon Stamps was born July 12, 1923 in Lakeview, Texas to John Bunyon and Florence (Godfrey) Duren. She was a sheet inspector for Burlington Sheet Factory and a member of First Baptist Church of Borger.
Mrs. Stamps was preceded in death by her parents, first Husband Jewel Raymond Moore on January 4, 1982, second Husband Cecil L. Stamps on January 5, 1993.
L.B. Linn, 90, of Borger, died Sunday, Sept 29, 2013.
A memorial gathering will be from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct 2, 2013, at 806 Jackson in Borger.
L.B. was born April 20, 1923, in Minco, Oklahoma to William Ivan-Linn and Mary Belle Youts. He married Irene Middlebrook on Oct. 17, 1942, in Fairfield, CT. L.B. loved his family, grandchildren and especially his great-great-grandchildren. He built radio controlled airplanes and enjoyed them at the fun flys. He was a member of the Local 602 Electrical Union for over 50 years.
Cheryl Anne Dacus, 56, of Borger died on Friday, September 27, in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. , Wednesday, October 2, at the First Baptist Church of Borger. Her brothers, Larry Washburn, Terry Washburn, and Doug Washburn will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Charles â€śChuckâ€ť Edward Washburn, Jr., 91 of Borger died Friday, September 27 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. , Wednesday, October 2 , at the First Baptist Church in Borger. C.E.â€™s sons, Larry Washburn, Terry Washburn, and Doug Washburn will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Vonnie â€śBessâ€ť Washburn, 87 of Borger died Friday, September 27, in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 2, at the First Baptist Church of Borger. Glenda (Walker) Francis, 66, of Borger, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Borger.
Glenda Louise Francis was born March 18, 1947 in Gainesville, Texas to Jack and Mary Francis (Trammell) Followwill. She married Robert Francis on July 10, 1993 in Borger.
Glenda was a LVN and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Borger..
Mrs. Francis is preceded in death by her parents, first Husband, George Lelitand Walker,
Step-Father and Step-Mother Raymond and Margie Newcomb.
Rose Lee Poulain, age 75, passed away September 22 at her home in Amarillo.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, at First Baptist Church Amarillo with Dr. Howard Batson officiating. There will be a private graveside service for the family at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, Texas. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Harry Leon Ehrlich, 86, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013.
Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive guest at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.
Harry was born November 29, 1926 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to John and Hannah Ehrlich. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Ehrlich.
