Joe Dee Ray

DENISON – Joe Dee Ray, 88-year-old Baptist preacher, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at his home in Denison.
He was born on March 7, 1924, in Grand Junction, Colorado, the youngest of six children to Henry and Nan Owens Fisher. After his mother’s death when he was six, he was raised by Aunt and Uncle Dee Moffat Ray and Sara Helen Owens Ray. He asked that they adopt him when he was 16 and he became Joe Dee Ray.

Gloria “GiGi” Counts

AMARILLO – Gloria “GiGi” Counts, 62, died March 8, 2012, in Amarillo, Texas.
Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Jake Minton of Borger officiating.
Private family inurnment will be at a later date by Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Gloria was born October 26, 1949 in Borger to Thad and Laveda Tubbs. She graduated from Borger High School in 1968.

Holly Tweed

Holly Tweed, 87, of Borger, passed away, Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
Mary Hollis (Altendorf) Tweed was born Wednesday, May 28, 1924 in Independence, KS to Philip and Catherine (Molidor) Altendorf. She married Dick Tweed in June of 1950 in Boulder, CO. Holly retired from the Texas Department of Human Services working in Daycare Licensing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick Tweed in 1976 and two brothers.
